Our Parks & Greenspace
We're proud to have some of the most pristine, historical, and educational parks in the area. From to , we have 12 parks and counting. With major recreation complexes and off-street trail system projects ongoing, which you can learn more about in the immersive platform, we strive to provide the best in class greenspace and parks for our families, visitors, and four-legged friends to enjoy year-round.
Savannah Rapids
Listed on the National Historic Registry and as one of the most well-known parks in the region, the scenic Savannah Rapids Park and Canal Headgates boasts an array of outdoor recreation options, rich history, and substantial event space. Whether you're looking to find a location for a wedding, corporate meeting, or a spot to enjoy the great outdoors, the picturesque backdrop of the Savannah River rapids and Augusta Canal Headgates simply cannot be beat.
Camping @ Wildwood Park
A calm 75-acre park offers access to the 72,000-acre Clarks Hill Lake, which has the area's best spots for fishing and boating activities. Wildwood Park is continuously voted the "Best Campground" in Columbia County and Metro Augusta by readers of the Columbia County Magazine since 2008 and most recently as 2017.
Wildwood Park hosts multiple fishing tournaments each year, from local and regional, to larger tournaments for ESPN Bassmasters, American Bass Anglers, FLW, BFL, and Georgia Bass Federation. The park also is home to the .

Patriots Park
As a multi-purpose recreational facility that is home to different sports' fields, parks, and courts, the complex is also experiencing growth to improve infrastructure to and from the park, while also adding even more fields to hold more practices, games, and tournaments.
Bắn cá quay hũThe Bobby Waters Gymnasium is a state-of-the-art indoor facility. The 29,000 sq. ft. facility is comprised of a 15,000 sq. ft. area for basketball and volleyball, four racquetball courts, an exercise room, game room, concession, and a 1,400 sq. ft. activity/meeting room.
Environmental Management
None of our esteemed parks or new projects, such as the , would be possible without a community and team that care for our natural resources. From managing floodplains and land disturbance, to the community's involvement in adopting miles and streams, we're able to keep the integrity of our environment.
Environmental Education
Education is the cornerstone for future excellence. You don't have to go far to explore all education resources in our area. Learn more about Reed Creek Nature Park & Interpretive Center, a hands-on science facility right here in our own backyard, and its programming.
